We are a digital platform for peer-to-peer trading of green technologies
We started the PeerGrid project to democratize access to the energy market, allow everyone to participate, and make the complete process less bureaucratic and fun.
It is built to be scalable, easy to use and operator agnostic. With flexible design, PeerGrid can be used to trade any current energy commodity with any fiat currency and be easily extended to support future trading products.
Some of the features our platform support and plan to support
Trade with wind, solar, water and other renewable commodities.
Store transactions in a blockchain distributed ledger and, optionally, store them somewhere else.
Manage settlements through blockchain, daily processing, or by using a third-party processor.
Let users directly sell or buy renewable commodities without a third-party intermediary.
Access and trade from anywhere, any device, any operating system.
Use the platform as a cloud option or host it on-premise.
What is P2P trading and how it works
Peer-to-Peer trading, commonly known as P2P trading, entails a couple of people selling or buying directly from each other.
It is a type of trading in which vendors and buyers register on a website known as a peer-to-peer platform, marketplace, or exchange. They post advertisements for goods to be purchased or sold with a specific price range and location.
The procedure is quite similar to selling things on eBay, Etsy, or Craigslist, in a manner that the vendor and buyer engage directly with the buyer to land at a price. However, the unique thing in this situation is that you are buying and selling energy commodities, such as water or solr power. Consider the situation when you wish to buy a solar power for a home consumption. The P2P exchange can help you connect with the right individual, at the right moment, and at the right location, so you can receive the best trading price and pay with a means that is convenient for both of you.
